But this decision should not only be dictated by aesthetic reasons, but also by the understanding that health and maintaining an ideal weight are very important. One of the most effective ways to lose weight is to practice fat burning exercises.

First of all, you need to understand that there is no magic wand that will make you lose weight overnight. Every body has its own metabolism. This means that some will find it easier than others to burn extra pounds. It is all about being determined, consistent and remembering that it is worth making every effort to achieve this goal. 1. Eat a balanced diet!

Start the day with a detoxifying juice. You can choose between lemon, pineapple, papaya or apple juice.

After half an hour, have breakfast: a slice of toast and natural yogurt with pieces of fruit. It is very important not to forget about breakfast. You can serve a few snacks throughout the day, but not too large portions.

Try to gradually eliminate sweet dairy products, cold cuts and sweets and eat more vegetables and foods rich in fiber and omega-3 fatty acids. Infusions are also welcome: ginger, green tea, dandelion and aloe vera.

2. Exercise!

Do two workouts each day, one at home and one outdoors.

  • You can choose between walking for an hour or running for 15 minutes.
  • The second exercise session at home should last at least half an hour.

3. Hydrate properly!

It is recommended to drink at least 2 liters of fluids (water, infusions and natural juices) a day. Don’t forget to put a bottle of water in your bag before you leave the house. Take a few mouthfuls of water from time to time.

4. Do not sit for a long time!

Sedentary lifestyle is one of the main causes of fat accumulation on the waist and thighs. Try to dose the periods when you are sitting in front of a computer or TV, for example. Within an hour, get up and do a little exercise.

5. Don’t give up!

Be persevering and carry to the end the decision to lose extra pounds. Changing your diet and exercising daily can be a stepping stone if you can team up with other friends to consult with and set common goals. This will make you more motivated to follow your plans.

Kneel on the mattress and support your body in your hands. Raise one leg and stretch it back to form a straight line with the torso. Stay in this position for 20 seconds. Repeat the exercise with the other leg.

Trunk lifts

Sit on the mattress on your back. Keep your legs bent, resting on your feet and stretch your hands along your body. From this position, lift your thighs as far as you can and stay in this position for 20 seconds.

Circles with legs

Sit on your side and lift one leg, as seen in the photo above. Then, start making small circles in the air, from one side to the other. Do this for 20 seconds, then change legs.

Lateral leg lifts

Stand with your legs apart, keep your hands behind your back and lift one leg, taking care to keep your balance. Stay in this position for 15 seconds. Repeat the exercise with the other leg.

It is a very easy but demanding exercise. Stand, stretch your arms and bend down, bending your knees. Repeat the exercise ten times.

These fat burning exercises are not complicated at all. They can be really enjoyable if you accompany them with cheerful music. Allow 30 minutes daily to perform them, and the results will appear quickly. Remember that the most important thing is the determination to reach your goal!
